We need more venture capital.

Following the articles bellow, I would like to through my vote and support behind venture firms in South Africa.. We really do need more of you. Can we really expect foreign investment of we are not prepared to invest ourselves..?

What will we do without the trusty old Spell Checker

We've all seen words that seem totally out of place in our emails. As a guest lecturer at two universities Ive seen many a odd word that just dont seem to make sense. Thank you to one of our subscribers for sending this one in to us:

"Ode to the Spell Checker"

Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.

Eye strike a key and type a word
And weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong oar write
It shows me strait a weigh

As soon as a mist ache is maid
It nose bee fore two long
And eye can put the error rite
Its rare lea ever wrong.

Eye have run this poem threw it
I am shore your pleased two no
Its letter perfect awl the weigh
My chequer tolled me sew

Fears that BEE 'may bring firms too close to state'

New fears have arised over BEE and the close relationship this has to the government in SA, according to David Lewis, the chairman of the competition tribunal. Ann Crotty said in a recent article:
